After
JE Putney And Sons were awarded the contract to carry out the internal lime plastering repairs to the main lobby area. The internal partition separating the main dining area and the entrance lobby was damaged to the point where the existing plaster and laths needed to be removed and new like for like used. New oak riven laths were fixed to both sides of the partition and 3 coats of haired non-hydraulic lime plaster were applied. Several small fibrous plaster repairs were carried out to the staircase, also.
