Before

  • The road was 1st laid out in 1831 and many of the properties are listed, including number 26.

After

JE Putney and Sons were awarded the contract to carry out the internal lime plastering works throughout the building. Unlike many projects, this particlar one specified limelite renovating plaster as opposed to the more traditional non-hydraulic lime. It has been developed for use on renovation projects, providing a modern, sympathetic solution to traditional limes. The breathable nature of limelite means it is ideal to use on traditional substrates. The curing times differe greatly to that of traditional lime. Non-hydraulic lime can take up to 7 days to cure whereas limelite cures in 48 hours in most cases.

Extensive works were carried out to the internal masonry walls throughout the building along with several ceilings repaired.
